Salary: $18.75-$21/Hour

Shields Foundation is seeking positive, reliable, and flexible individuals to serve as one-on-one support staff for adults with developmental disabilities in our supported community connections day program. Our supported community connections program takes individuals in small groups out for activities in the community Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Expectations:

• Ability to pass background and Colorado Adult Protective Services check.
• Provide supervision for clients while out in the community and completing activities.
• Model appropriate behavior and assist with task completion as necessary.
• Willingness to complete required trainings.
• First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• QMAP Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Salary: $1500-$6000 (tax free dollars per month)

Our Host Home providers are our greatest resource and enable us to help individuals live rich, meaningful lives in the communities they call home. The services Host Homes provide are specifically tailored to meet the desires and needs of the individual who lives with them. The actual level of support, supervision and active assistance varies by each individual.

Salary: $18-$22/Hour

Shields Foundation is seeking an energetic, positive, and motivated individual to work as part of a team of residential managers. Basic understanding of developmental disabilities, mental health issues, and behavioral issues. Those who have obtained or are in the processing of obtaining a degree in fields related to – psychology, sociology, social work, education, family and child sciences, etc. are encouraged to apply! We are seeking someone to work roughly 30-35 hours per week. Pay rate will be between $18-$22 per hour.

Expectations:

• Ability to pass background and Colorado Adult Protective Services check
• Have strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem solving skills with willingness to maintain flexibility.
• Be able to provide at least 2 references.
• Efficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to complete required trainings.
• First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• QMAP Certification or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Salary: $16-$18/Hour

Shields Foundation is seeking a job coach to work with clients for job development skills training as well as ongoing job coaching. Job coach will be responsible for things like assisting with resume creation, education about job positions, workplace expectations, appropriate workplace relationships, time management, customer services skills, etc.
